We are excited to present our annual Close Encounters house concert this summer on July 25, 2026, featuring GRAMMY-nominated lutenist Ronn McFarlane and Richmond, Virginia guitarist Andrew McEvoy.

In this intimate private setting, McFarlane and McEvoy explore the timeless connection between lute and guitar, bringing listeners music from the 16th and 17th centuries alongside new works inspired by those ancient traditions. Featuring music connected to John Dowland, Francesco da Milano, and original compositions by the artists, this spellbinding concert blends the elegance of the Renaissance with the freshness of living music.

After the performance, guests are invited to enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and conversation with the artists and fellow music lovers.
